The composition is built around a dense proliferation of bees, rendered through a sophisticated combination of gold leaf, silver leaf, modelling paste and fluorescent yellow acrylic. Against the deep background, the repeated figures create a powerful visual rhythm, while the metallic surfaces introduce changing reflections and a distinctive material quality.
