An antique Renaissance Revival throne armchair crafted in quarter sawn oak, featuring a carved crest with scrolling foliate decoration centered by an oval cartouche. The chair has boldly scrolled arms, turned front legs, and a carved H-stretcher, all characteristic of the Renaissance Revival style. The quarter sawn oak displays prominent ray fleck grain beneath a rich dark finish.
