A commemorative Windsor-style armchair created for Wake Forest University, featuring a black painted finish with contrasting cherry-finished arms and gold accent banding. The shaped crest rail displays the Wake Forest University seal, while the rear retains the original engraved brass presentation plaque honoring Dr. John P. Zornosa, Chief Resident in Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, North Carolina Baptist Hospital, for the 1984–1985 academic year.
Constructed in the traditional Windsor style with a sculpted saddle seat, turned legs, and spindled back, this chair is both a functional seating piece and an important university commemorative. It would make an excellent addition to a Wake Forest alumni collection, medical history collection, office, library, or study.
