The original painting "Paul en Arlequin" was painted in 1924, depicting his young son Paulo dressed as a harlequin.
This beautiful poster was created in 1979 to advertise the Pablo Picasso exhibition at the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysees in Paris, France. Best known and celebrated for his painting, drawing, sculpting and ceramics, Picasso co-founded the Cubist movement and is credited with co-founding several other important movements
The poster and frame are in Very Good preloved condition. This lithograph poster was produced to advertise an exhibition of works received by the French state in lieu of inheritance taxes, held at the Grand Palais in Paris from October 12, 1979, to January 7, 1980.
