Hand-knotted in dense, lustrous wool with the powerful, architectural gül scale that made the Afghan carpet a design icon.

Colors run deep crimson and madder red against aubergine-black with touches of rust and ivory — a saturated, grounding palette with real presence. At nearly 11 feet, it anchors a large living room, dining room, or open-plan space, and works across traditional, tribal, bohemian, eclectic, and mid-century interiors.

Hand-knotted wool pile on a wool foundation with full, even pile and deep, even color. Good vintage condition with light, honest age character. Original ivory wool fringe and secured selvages. Measures 10'7" x 7'3" (127 in. x 87 in.). See less
