5 antique Japanese Kutani porcelain plates. Based on the maker's mark and artistic style, these pieces date back to the Japanese Taisho to early Showa era (circa 1910s–1930s) and were created during the peak of the Japanese porcelain export boom.
Each plate features a gorgeous, asymmetrical, hand-painted watercolor-style landscape. The scene beautifully captures classic Japanese motifs, including a prominent pheasant/bird of paradise perched among blooming cherry blossoms, traditional thatched-roof countryside huts, and a snow-capped Mount Fuji in the background.The back of each plate is hand-marked with the classic two-character red oval "Kutani" (九谷) kiln signature.Details & Dimensions:Quantity: 5 matching platesOrigin: Japan (Ishikawa Prefecture)Era: Antique (Taisho / Early Showa Era, approx. 1910–1930)Material: Porcelain with hand-painted overglaze enamel and gold gilt rim.Size: 7.5 inches in diameter
