A vintage ice bucket created by the renowned Italian designer Aldo Tura and produced by maker Macabo. Crafted from dyed oxblood red lacquered goatskin (often referred to as parchment) and accented with polished brass lid and two handles. Includes a black plastic liner in great condition. Features a distinctive bell-shaped flared base.
Handcrafted in Milan, Italy, during the 1960s. Tura was celebrated for wrapping furniture and bar accessories in dyed, high-gloss lacquered animal skins, transforming functional barware into highly collectible luxury objects.
While manufacturer stickers remain on the teak wood bottom, they are no longer legible.
