A well-executed original pastel on textured paper of a mountain scene with two figures featuring Latin American village and farming scenes.
Provenance suggests South American origin - Argentina, Peru, Brazil, potentially. Perhaps a treasure acquired on holiday that was carefully brought home.
Artist signed in lower right.
Presented in an original mat and a plastic shield - but unframed.
18" x14" in the mat - image itself is approx. 8" x 10".
Purple heather, lavender yellow gold, pops of orange and red, waves of soft green and blue - very nicely done.
