The front features a colorful enamel motif of a stylized figure holding a flower, painted in red, blue, green, and black. Signed to the underside. A characteristic example of italian 1960s studio ceramics with strong graphic and artistic expression.

During the 1960s and 70s, italian ceramic art flourished with workshops such as bitossi, fratelli fanciullacci, and numerous small studios experimenting with modern forms, vibrant glazes, and hand-painted designs.
