It's simply brilliant in design yet stands out outstandingly with its top triangular house shaped pediment and elegant finial. A very victorian driven design from the early 20th Century. Supporting each of its floors are double spools/spindles. These stacked vase-shaped columns give it an ornate whimsical look and feel. The stained shelves are like wafer plain planks of wood with magnificent patina—as the whole is—and are great for small collectibles. This stupendous piece is small enough to hang on the wall or place on a shelf or mantle. It can be utilitarian or stand as its own sculptural Objet d'Art.
