The lamp begins at the base, which is a stunning piece of cast metal with a dark, textured patina. It recreates the botanical scene in great detail.
Two large, flat “lotus leaves” (or water lilies), whose interiors are filled with the same shell-textured glass in a vibrant green hue, are set into the metal.
A metal stem with an aged brass finish, shaped like a swan’s neck, suspends the shade above the base.

The centerpiece of the piece is a shade crafted using the copper-strip technique. The glass is not flat; it has a distinctive texture on the exterior, which creates a magical and soft diffusion of light, mimicking organic surfaces. It features a geometric mosaic of triangular and trapezoidal segments that form a flared shade with a wavy edge, blending subtle, warm colors (yellow, amber, lavender, milky white) with pops of color.
