An antique Louis XIV style footstool crafted by Colonial Furniture Co., dating to approximately C1880. This finely carved walnut footstool features elegant cabriole legs terminating in distinctive claw feet. The frame is adorned with intricate rocaille and floral carvings along the apron and knees, characteristic of the French Revival period. The top is upholstered in a decorative fabric, presenting a red/pink tone ground with a subtle floral pattern, further enhanced by a central tapestry-style panel depicting classical urns and foliage. A visible manufacturer's label on the underside identifies it as a product of Colonial Furniture Co.
