This vintage handcrafted studio pottery bowl is a refined example of mid-20th-century artisanal ceramic work, distinguished by its rich green glaze and thoughtfully executed form. The exterior features a luminous, glossy finish with a nuanced gradient that transitions from a softer green at the base to deeper, more saturated tones near the rim, creating a sense of depth and organic movement. Inside, a darker glaze is accented by a striking teal-green band encircling the interior, offering a beautiful contrast that highlights the potter’s skilled glazing technique and artistic intent.
Compact yet visually engaging, the bowl measures 4 inches wide and deep with a height of 2 inches, making it ideal as a decorative accent, catchall, or collectible studio piece. Minor surface irregularities are present, consistent with its handmade nature and age, adding to its authenticity and charm. Free of chips or cracks and structurally sound, this bowl is in very good vintage condition and makes a timeless addition to any ceramics collection or curated interior.
