This sink is in amazing condition for its 69 years, with shiny porcelain and chrome legs. There are relatively few signs of prior use to be found from the top of the backsplash to the legs. It is virtually scratch free, and there was a single chip found. Top to bottom details: The top of the backsplash is fine overall. There is what looks like light chipping along the back edge, but the only one that looks like it is not an imperfection built into the piece is a small, shallow ding toward the right. The rest of the top surface is very good. The vertical surface where the faucet resides and the end pieces are excellent with no damage or wear. The faucet handles and stopper mechanism look good for the age, with only a little chrome pitting present. This sink has not been used in decades; thus, the faucet hasn't been recently tested with water. The knob's movement feels correct, and the stopper lever moves freely. At this point it does not move the stopper however, as there is a missing piece that goes inside the pipe on the underside that does the lifting. The horizontal area running around the sink is also fine. There were no blemishes found, even in the "soap dishes". These oftentimes are rough from the effects of the lye in the soap over time, but these are both smooth and shiny. The interior of the basin is the same as the rest of the sink. It is shiny down the sides to the bottom with no chips and only a couple hints of scratches. The original stopper is very good. The chromed top surface is like a mirror, and the rest is fine. The entire outside of the sink is excellent overall, save for some very faint scratches at the front that were too small for the camera to pick up. The underside is also very nice. There is no damage or wear to the porcelain, and the mechanical and plumbing pieces look good. The legs are very good on the whole. There is light pitting at the very bottom of both and a little very slight discoloration at the top, mainly on one leg. It is small enough that the leg can be turned so it is to the back and not seen, though it would not likely be noticed anyway. The original "Standard" wall bracket is included. There is some rust around the edges but is in good, usable condition. Please see the pictures for further details.
*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this. There are pictures included with and without the use of flash in an attempt to show the details. The description is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and areas are pointed out that may look nearly flawless in the pictures.
