This Set of Six Louis XVI Revival Walnut Dining armchairs by W. & J. Description
* Set of six solid walnut chairs with oval medallion backs
* Oval medallion backs are framed by molded walnut rails and finished with decorative nailhead trim surrounding the upholstered panel
* Curved arms terminate in restrained scrolls, each fitted with upholstered arm pads
* Fluted tapering front legs with carved corner blocks featuring floral motifs and molded seat rails
* Upholstered in warm neutral woven fabric
* Decorative brass-tone nailhead trim outlines the oval backs and serpentine seat rails
* Original W. & J. Sloane manufacturer labels attached beneath upholstery
* .Very good vintage condition with attractive aged appearance consistent with vintage furniture wear and age. Walnut frames exhibit scattered finish wear, surface scratches, edge rubbing, and small nicks, particularly along the arm rails, crest rails, legs, and carved edges, consistent with age and modest use. Upholstery remains intact, with evidence of light-to-moderate visible wear. No structural defects known.
