Made in England during the 1800's, this piece is a charming example of Majolica. It depicts one leaf in the center with greens and yellow. The border has a leaf vein pattern in colors of green & pink and a brown edge. It is interesting to note that there are 3 spur marks from firing on the front of the dish (see leaf) instead of on the base. Crazing and staining on bottom of plate, small chip as shown.
