Period Jacobean oak buffet with exquisite geometric paneled detail.
The top is nicely grained and has banded ends and a molded edge. The sides are beautifully paneled, for a lovely profile from every angle in the room. The front of the cabinet has two drawers, also paneled over two paneled doors. The doors are flanked by applied half turnings. The doors open to reveal shelving. The case is supported on a molded base and hand turned bun feet on the front and simple legs in the back for easy placement against a wall.
This is a gorgeous early piece of English history which will be the star of any collection in which it is placed.
