An antique Carl Zeiss Jena binoculars and original leather case, manufactured in Germany in 1921. Clear lenses and smooth mechanics. Unpainted brass central frame, brass lens rims, and a textured dark leather-wrapped body. Maker's mark, name and ID number stamped on both sides.

DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1921.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Brass, Optical Glass, Leather.
CONDITION Good. With appropriate patina for age. Functions properly. Case is missing the top. The leather strap appears to have been replaced at some point during its lifetime.
DIMENSIONS H 4.25 in. x W 7 in. x D 2 in., Case H 5 in. W 7 in. D 3 in.

HISTORY
