A generously proportioned over stuffed button back armchair in calico. Complemented with mahogany turned front legs and splayed back legs, all raised on original brass castors. The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid oak frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added. In fabulous condition and upholstered in the traditional country house manner. English, circa 1880.
