Vintage Chanel Gripoix brooch (circa 1980s) set with red stones.
Red Gripoix red glass is set into the ornate large 2-inch brooch. From collection 23, the brooch dates to the mid 1980s and is a great example of bold Chanel jewellery from the era. The brooch is designed by the famed Victoire de Castellane, head jewellery designer for Chanel at the time.
The brooch is in very good condition showing minimal wear.
