Urbain Huchet (1930 – 2014), born in Rennes, was a French artist and Printmaker; after studying law and owning a textile factory for four years, he decided in 1960 to devote himself entirely to painting and held exhibitions in New York, London, New Orleans. He is known for his modernist marine, cityscape, figure, and genre painting.
