For your consideration, a reproduction of "Repose" (also known as "The British Lion") by the Hungarian artist Géza Vastagh.
Géza Vastagh (1866–1919) was renowned for his realistic depictions of exotic animals, particularly lions.
The artwork depicts a lion resting alongside a lioness in a dark den.
The painting was famously reproduced as a print for Pears Soap in their 1899 annual, which contributed to its popularity.
