A beautiful, intense abstract oil painting on panel with a post-Futurist feel, signed with a dedication on the reverse.
The coherent and harmonious colour scheme of this fascinating painting is one of the most successful aspects of this small masterpiece.
A blend of abstraction and Futurism lends it an unrivalled charm.
The numerous references to movement, swirls and speed in this painting immediately bring to mind great artists such as Giacomo Balla and Umberto Boccioni.
On the reverse is the dedication " A Maurizio con affetto " To Maurizio with affection and an unidentified signature.
This artwork, never before on the market, comes from an important Italian private collection and is beautified by an impressive original frame in gilded wood, in almost perfect condition.
