French Mahogany Louis XVI Style Two-Door Buffet with Carrara Marble Top draws on the elegant restraint of neoclassical and Directoire designs, reinterpreted in the mid-20th century with a sophistication later championed by houses such as Maison Jansen. Rooted in the classical French tradition that bridged the late 18th and early 19th centuries, the design feels both timeless and quietly modern, with clean lines, neoclassical balance, and refined material contrast.
Richly figured mahogany, delicate brass trim, and a white Carrara marble top give the piece its distinctive character. The bookmatched doors bring dramatic symmetry to the façade, while fluted corners and tapering legs lend architectural grace. Modern yet grounded in antiquity, it is a beautifully composed piece with enduring French style.
An exceptional choice for a cozy spot, or to convert into a bathroom sink vanity!
