Crafted in France circa 1970, each chair features an oval medallion back framed by molded wood, with a shaped upholstered seat raised on slender tapering fluted legs.
The painted frames are finished in a soft ivory tone and detailed with carved floral corner blocks, molded seat rails, and subtle neoclassical ornamentation. Their balanced proportions and light architectural lines reflect the enduring influence of Louis XVI design without excessive decoration.
Both the oval backs and seats are upholstered in a pale geometric woven fabric in coordinating neutral tones. The upholstery shows visible staining, small holes, and general wear from age and use, as shown in the detailed photographs.
