12" Square Encaustic & Antique Collage on Cradled Panel
This original 12” x 12” work is a tactile exploration of history and light. Created using the ancient medium of encaustic painting (molten beeswax and damar resin), the piece features a rich, luminous depth that only natural wax can provide.
Embedded within the layers of translucent wax is a hand-curated antique collage, featuring antique Harper’s Bazaar magazines. The encaustic process naturally preserves these historical elements, creating a "window through time" that feels both contemporary and timeless.
