A distinctive set of 2 custom-made wrought-iron barstools, handcrafted in Mexico circa 1990 and acquired from an estate in Santa Barbara, California. Combining substantial metal construction with open, linear frames and organically shaped backs, these vintage bar-height stools capture the rustic elegance of Spanish Colonial Revival furniture.

Each stool features a thick metal seat and a hand-forged iron frame with an aged, patinated finish. The restrained structure contrasts with the freely formed back design, giving the set a sculptural character suited to Spanish Mediterranean homes, hacienda interiors and collected contemporary spaces. Their open frames allow the surrounding architecture to remain visible, while the iron construction gives them a substantial presence.

Measuring 48 inches high × 16 inches wide × 16 inches deep, each stool has a 29-inch seat height and a 16 × 16-inch seat. The proportions make them suitable for a bar-height setting. They would be particularly effective around an indoor bar or on a covered patio, where their weathered iron surfaces complement plaster, stone and natural wood.

Made from hand-forged wrought iron, this coordinated six-piece set is in good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use, including light surface rust and variations in the patina. These characteristics contribute to its rustic appearance. For outdoor placement, shelter from prolonged moisture is recommended to help preserve the finish.
