You might recognize Joel’s work on the back of the US coins. He holds 54 winning U.S coin designs along with more than 15 Congressional Gold Medals. Throughout his career he has dedicated his life to honoring and illustrating humankind’s most stirring histories. He states “I am a narrative artist.”
This piece is a tribute to Rembrandt who most famously known for “Sea of Galilee.” The original piece was stolen in the famous Garder museum heist which has been missing for over 30 years.
