This authentic Oushak weaving originates from Turkey's storied textile heritage, crafted entirely by hand using wool yarns on a wool base. Measuring 4'7" by 6'7", it exemplifies the distinctive aesthetic that emerged from Anatolia's weaving traditions. The rug showcases the hallmark characteristics of its region—bold geometric patterns rendered in muted, sophisticated tones that have long appealed to discerning collectors and design professionals. Each village in this historic area developed its own signature motifs, making these pieces individually distinctive. The soft color palette and architectural design elements have secured these rugs' prominence in fine interiors throughout Europe and beyond, valued for their timeless appeal and superior craftsmanship.
