Photographed from left to right in the primary photo: 1. Eugenes de Beauharnais; 2. Joachim Murat; 3. Jerome Napoleon Bonaparte (youngest brother of Napoleon); 4. Nicolas Jean de Dieu Soult "aka the 'Iron Hand'; 5. Jean-Andoche Junot and 6. Jean Lammes.

All six are meticulously crafted with intricate detailing of their uniforms, faces and hair. They are created from bisque porcelain - bisque porcelain (or biscuit porcelain) is unglazed, matte-finish porcelain fired to be hard, non-porous (unlike biscuit earthenware), and often translucent, prized for realistic skin textures, serving as a final product or a stage before glazing in pottery.

The famous French porcelain company Sevres is well known for this type of art and these renditions from Chelsea House in North Carolina are beautifully done and in great condition. This would be a wonderful gift for a lover of French military history!
