Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Writing Table / Console
This handsome antique oak writing table embodies the bold, architectural lines characteristic of the Arts & Crafts era. Crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak with a warm, medium-brown finish, the piece features striking grain patterns, rounded edges, and exceptional craftsmanship throughout.
The table is supported by four substantial cylindrical legs—deeply grained and set on turned bun feet—that give it a grounded, sculptural presence. A full-length stretcher shelf below adds both stability and extra display or storage space. Across the front, two smoothly framed drawers with cast metal pulls provide practical storage for writing essentials, office accessories, or entryway items.
Perfect as a writing desk, console table, sofa table, or compact workspace, this versatile piece offers timeless beauty and function. Its solid construction and classic Arts & Crafts styling make it a standout in traditional, cottage, Mission, or eclectic interiors.
