A Turkish Kars runner with an unusual shade of bright pink on one end with shades of pink found in the border and field.
3'5'' x 11'7''
Kars is a village located in Northeast of Turkey. The weavers in this area tend to make long runners and long odd size gallery rugs, with large medallions often in the form of large Caucasian designs. The wool used are usually naturally brown with thicker coarse, rugged piles intended to make the rugs last longer and able to endure heavy foot traffic.
