These Mid Century artworks in the manner of Curtis Jere, are a pair of abstract brutalist ,metal, 3-dimension wall sculptures. They feature a metal construction with a textured, industrial appearance, characteristic of the Brutalist style which uses bold, raw forms to create an effect of massiveness and power.
The pieces use various patinas, including rust, orange, and hints of yellow, achieved through a oxidation process and specific paints, which give them a rich, rusted or aged look. The top piece has a vertical bar design, while the bottom piece features a woven or lattice design, and both are mounted on metal bases.
