This refined vintage tapestry hails from Aubusson, the renowned French center celebrated globally as the "World Capital of Tapestry." Measuring 4'2" x 10'3", it exemplifies the region's distinguished weaving heritage spanning from the 17th century to the present. French artisans employed the most luxurious materials—premium wools and silks—to translate the compositions of master artists, including the celebrated Rococo painter François Boucher, into monumental wall installations. Each piece represents the convergence of fine art and textile craftsmanship, embodying the sophistication and technical excellence that established Aubusson's preeminent reputation.
