My friend who lives in the south of France recently attended a regatta in St. Tropez and sent me her photos for inspiration as she knew I would love to paint what she saw. The small dashes of color upon a deep blue see with blowing clouds, all make me smell the salty air. This was painted using one of my favored techniques, using only a palette knife. This creates palpable texture and an abstract feel. Perfect for a seascape lover! See less
