The entire case is of hand made construction and is pegged. The top has a beveled edge, and follows down to a raised paneled back and sides. There is a scalloped apron along the top and two moveable shelves. The skirt is also hand scalloped and the case is supported on cabriole feet in the front and simple feet in the back, for easy placement against a wall. See less
