This semi-antique Persian Shiraz rug, measuring 7'1" x 10', is handwoven in the Shiraz region of Southern Iran. Persian rugs are deeply rooted in Iran’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, with weaving traditions that trace back to the Bronze Age. The oldest existing Persian rugs date from the Safavid dynasty of the 16th century, reflecting centuries of craftsmanship and design evolution.
