Printed in France in 1947 by Draeger, each composition is rendered in a delicate palette of blush pink, lavender, green, and soft yellow. One depicts a fashionable woman reclining beneath a parasol amid lush greenery, while its companion presents two elegantly dressed figures enjoying a leisurely moment in a garden. Each lithograph bears the artist’s signature within the image at the lower right, together with the printer’s mark.

The works are displayed under glass in matching carved wooden frames decorated with scrolling foliage. Their softly distressed ivory-painted finish and gilt inner borders complement the pastel tones of the compositions while giving the pair an appealing timeworn character. Retaining their paper-covered backs and hanging wires, the framed prints are ready for display.

His distinctive work blends Belle Époque elegance with the fashionable spirit of the Art Deco period. The pair is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
