Five (5) Macau Dragon / Phoenix Rice Bowls
Four gilded dragon bowls, marked mid-century.
One gilded phoenix bowl, marked late 20th century.
Together these five bowls are a beautiful set and were hand painted in Macau.
The hand applied "CHINA" marks indicate 4 of these bowls are older.
One bowl bears a newer factory mark, likely a later production—an heir to the motif, rising with bright glaze and printed legacy. Whether styled for display or ritual use, these bowls echo the grandeur of dynastic tableware with theatrical flourish and fading charm.
