This vintage Turkish Oushak runner, measuring 3'3" x 9'7", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. The Anatolian plateau, recognized as the origin of oriental rug weaving, is home to villages that each developed unique designs and color schemes seldom imitated by others. These antique rugs, frequently depicted in historic European paintings, are celebrated for their bold geometric patterns and muted tones, making them highly regarded by interior design experts.
