Add a distinctive touch to your decor with this rare pair of American cast bronze door knobs from the late 19th century. These beautiful knobs are exquisitely decorated with mythological sea creatures and have a beautiful uniform and intact patina. The pair are in excellent condition with normal wear from age and use and were manufactured by Lockwood Manufacturing Co. in Norwalk, CT in the 1890s. They are indeed very characteristic of quality craftsmanship at height of the Victorian period and would make a fine addition to any classic home.
