These monumental Late 20th Century prints came directly out of a Naples, Florida estate and had only one owner. They depict a variety of citrus fruits and blossoms including bitter oranges, sweet oranges, citron paradise apples, orange flower blossoms, Chinese oranges and Baroque lemons. Each fruit is signed with its original "Latin" scientific name.

These REPRODUCTIONS are so outstanding they appear to be real engravings from the era and the new owner will be very happy about their expert quality.

These prints are derived from the original book "Hesperides" published in Rome in 1646. It belongs to one of the most splendid and scientifically precise botanical works of 17th Century Europe.

FRAMED PRINTS: The prints are reproduced on white paper surrounded by tan and chocolate brown matting with slight imprints of palm leaves on the brown matboard. They are framed in glass and surrounded by a bronze colored giltwood style wood frame with an elegant twisted rope border.

EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. No flaws whatsoever!.
