A very well executed contemporary coastal composition, painted onto canvas by British artist Nicky Knill Jones.

This painting portrays a vast, windswept beach under a dramatic, cloud-streaked sky. The horizon is low and dark, with rolling hills framing the edge of the sea, while the expansive sky dominates the upper half of the canvas in shifting tones of blue and grey.

Scattered across the wet sand are small, loosely rendered figures, their reflections faintly mirrored on the glistening surface.
