Traditional dog portraiture. Vintage oil painting on canvas depicting a light-colored dog in a seated position with a fluffy coat, likely a border terrier or a similar breed, possibly a West Highland terrier. Dog is sitting on grass in front of brick structure with water jugs at corner of buiding. The painting style is reminiscent of 19th-century British art. Beautiful gilded frame. Signed Joseff.
