This spectacular gilded mirror dates to the 1880s era and is French. The mirror features full body carved birds with floral bouquets and full-figured maidens on each side. The mirror is in gorgeous water-gilded and water-gilded gold leaf and is in good condition for its advanced age and fragility. The mirror would make an eye-popping focal point above a mantel or buffet.
