An early 19th century American Empire flame mahogany round wall mirror with thick 16 sided ogee profile. Rich mahogany veneer with pine as a secondary wood. Cast brass ring at the top and a wire on the back for hanging. Brass plate engraved with the name Julia afixed to the back. In good condition with two pieces of replaced veneer on inner edge and minor losses. Mirror has small ding upper right edge. Circa 1800-1820
