The natural madder red field of this moderately woven NW Persian village carpet shows a distinctive design of straw and abrashed light blue vertical poles anchored by stepped lozenges and "butterfly" motives, with sharply serrated botehs, arrowheads, rosettes and other assorted geometric elements Abrashed dark blue strip style border with rosettes and doubly bent leaves.
