Magnificent Bohemian Engraved Citrine Cut to Clear Floral Vase
Bohemia, Czech Republic, Post WWII Circa 1950
A stunning example of craftsmanship from Bohemia, Czech Republic, circa 1950. Created in the post-WWII era, this monumental vase is executed in the style of the renowned Moser Glass Works, embodying the exquisite detail and artistry of fine crystal. Standing at an impressive 14 inches in height with a diameter of 9.25 inches, the vase is made from a substantial crystal blank weighing over 15 pounds. Its elegant inverted tapering form is adorned with intricate faceted and diamond-cut designs, while six delicate floral vignettes in citrine jewel tones are beautifully engraved in a "cut to clear" style, highlighting the dual clarity of the crystal. The vase rests on a solid 5.75-inch-diameter base, ensuring stability and presence. Well kept and ready for display or use, this vintage masterwork is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, making it a perfect addition to any collection or interior.
