Massive Pair of Danish Modern Green Earth Tone Studio Pottery Lamps With Globes
Denmark, Circa 1950s
A Massive Pair of Danish Modern Green Earth Tone Studio Pottery Lamps with Globes, originating from Denmark in the 1950s. Each lamp, standing at a commanding 40 inches high with the globe and 33.5 inches high to the top of the column, is a testament to mid-century modern design. The 11-inch diameter body of the lamps is adorned with continuous raised abstract appliqué designs, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of Danish studio pottery.
Retaining the original white holophane globes, these lamps exude a warm and ambient glow, ready to shade. The tapering design culminates in a patented metal 9-inch base, providing stability and aesthetic balance. Newly rewired, these Danish Modern pottery lamps are ready to be shaded and placed, bringing mid-century elegance to any interior space. This massive pair represents a harmonious blend of functional lighting and artistic expression, perfect for those appreciating the timeless appeal of Danish Modern design.
