We are selling this great French Bronze and Jasper inkwell. This Japonisme style inkwell is signed F. Barbedienne for Ferdinand Barbedienne. The inkwell features two turtles on the lid and two supporting the body in a Japanese style, the body which is carved from a red jasper. Possibly had another piece on the bottom as there are two mounting holes.
Condition: Good antique condition with general age wear. Might have had another part to the base.
